    Default Memory Dump

In the Winnt folder I have a memory dump file (Memory.dmp) that's 536MB in
size. It is dated 4th of June 2006.
I don't recall having a problem then but who knows.
Anyway, it's taking up a lot of disk space. Can I delete it?
    Thanks

    Thanks.
I deleted it and it seemed to fix a problem when I ran Check Disk to scan
the hard drive I got an error message "Cannot open file for direct access"
    then the scan failed.
