    Default avi on ftp

Hey all, long time no see. Quick ftp question for ya. If you open an mp3 or jpeg file off of an ftp site you play it or open it. But what about avi files? Is there a way to make all movies just start playing instead of downloading? Or does it have to be in mov format?

Firefox or an ftp connection with a new network connection. But i would like to use FF to browse the .avi files and then click on one of the titles and then have it start playing in the browser, FF.

It does that with .mov files. Is FF capable of doing the same with .avi?
