Thread: How to take off Compaq Organizer

I have a one-year-old computer (Compaq Presario) with high-speed broadband connection. It's the slowest computer I've ever had. It has this "Compaq Organize" window that comes up on the desktop. From the time I turn on the power until the desktop comes up, it takes about 5 minutes. I have a feeling that this Compaq Organize window is slowing my bringing up the computer. Any idea how I can get this removed? I know NOTHING about computers, so any ideas have to be easy. Otherwise, I'll just have to get used to this computer being so darn slow.
