    whenever I try to load a specific program I get the message

    c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running
    MS-DOS and microsoft windows applications.

    the program im trying to install is `mkwSFX`
    (the message also appears when I try to install `boggle` (for my wife you
    know))

    my o/s is window xp......


    please help........

    Your first post is there, and *mike* replied to it.
    There's another easy solution: from the directory C:\windows\repair, copy
    the files autoexec.nt and config.nt to the directory C:\windows\system32,
    overwriting the excisting files. When done, set the "read-only" attribute
    to the files you just copied (in C:\windows\system32) so they can't be
    altered by some bogus programs.
