| only 2 b told that I would have 2 buy the software.

| www.antivirusgold.com telling me to removed the virus I had to buy the
| software. Did a little snooping and removed web content from my desktop
| and spyware from my computer, the message disappeared rebooted only to find
| that it was back again both the message and the spyware. By this time I was
| really annoyed so fdisk my partition and reinstalled windows xp.

I posted some info about this 06-21-05 titled " AntiVirus Gold <---Do not
get the wrong one!" look it up.
anyways what's done is done. Go to
http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm and then go to edit and
do a "find" for "AntiVirus Gold" and it should take you down to the section
on the page about this rouge program. According to them this program
contains aggressive advertising, desktop hijacks .
