¿ Buscas trabajo a tiempo completo ?. Al fin y al cabo, es la mayor inversión que uno hace en su vida, ya que una importante parte de nuestro tiempo no durmiente nos la pasamos allí. Hace unos años leí un libro bastante interesante que habla sobre cómo buscar trabajo, se titula "What Color is your Parachute", de Richard N. Bolles, y ha vendido más de 8 millones de copias hasta la fecha. Una de las cosas que más me llamó la atención del libro es la descripción que hace sobre la paradoja consistente en que las personas que quieren un trabajo lo buscan de forma completamente opuesta a la que emplean las empresas para sus contrataciones.

Normalmente, las personas que quieren cambiar de empleo o que quieren conseguir uno porque no lo tienen dedican gran parte del tiempo a mandar currícula a diestro y siniestro. El resultado es que a muchas compañías les llegan diariamente cientos de mails y cartas con información que no tienen tiempo ni ganas para mirar más de dos segundos (eso en el caso de las que siquiera lo hacen). Al final, con suerte el currículum se almacena en una base de datos, y cuando lo vuelvan a leer te habrá dado tiempo hasta a cambiarte de sexo.
