No picture on my TV screen when MCE is running in full screen
When MCE runs in full screen mode the screen on my TV set goes black. The on
thing I can see is the mouse arrow. When I press ctrl+alt.delete the scrren
comes back on and I can restore down the MCE window in order to have the
screen on. The odd thing is that there is no issue when I run the initial
setup of MCE in full screen mode. The issue starts if I close down MCE and
starts it again. Furthermore if I use Media player to run a DVD movie in full
screen mode ther i s no issue, only in MCE.
Spec. of my MCE setup is:
- Roolup 2 og MCE
- Catalyst 5.13 Windows XP Media Center Edition driver (Radion Express 200
chipset on board)
- Old TV set connected though S-video.
Can anyone help me out?

I had a similar problem - In my case I changed the screen resoloution to
1027 x 768 and set the display to "clone" mode.

Hi Richard .... I have tried 1024 x 768 but it did not solve the problem. I
am not sure how to "clone". Thee is no obvius option for that in the ATI
software. Do you know how?

Re: No picture on my TV screen when MCE is running in full screen
I'm using nvidia so I don't have an ATI to look at. However, I go to the
Display Properties and select settings > Advanced. I can then see my
GeForce card listed in the tabs. From there I can get a Display Mode which
gives me the options of Clone, Horizontal Span, Vertical Span & Dual View.
The TV has to be connected for these options to show.
Hope this helps.
