Graphics seem to be much crisper but and the appearance has moved away from the traditional look, especially in the windows titles. Much of the dialogs, once drilled down upon, are the same in terms of verbage and content. Things have been moved around, rearranged, and or renamed so there's the usual adjustment phase required from the familiar places and names of things to click to and on. There's no compelling need to rush to upgrade for regular users as there is nothing that XP can't do right now.

As more new systems roll out, as has been seen many times in the past, there will be more Vistas than XP sold and the next step is going to be no XP option and finally just Vista from all manufactures. Developers and tech support could stand to gain from vista just to be ahead of the masses because as regular users go out to buy computer systems they often want or are convinced to get the latest greatest even if the more stable, known, and reliable, is there on the shelf right next to it.
